Loupe Factory Pricing Documentation Design¶

Goal¶

Bring the documentation into exact alignment with the public Loupe Factory pricing page reviewed on July 17, 2026, then make plan selection easier for global manufacturers and wholesalers.

Source of Truth¶

The canonical commercial source is https://www.loupefactory.com/pricing/. Product workflow pages may add useful operational detail, but they must not contradict that page about prices, included seats, AI credit allowances, plan limits, integrations, support, or contract terms.

The documentation must preserve these current facts:

Professional and Business customers may add login seats for $10 USD per user per month, up to 100 total users. Staff records without login access do not consume seats. Annual billing is paid upfront and provides 12 months for the price of 10. Professional and Business include a 30-day money-back guarantee, with no setup fees and cancellation available at any time. Current launch pricing ends August 31, 2026, and the rate is retained only for the billing term started by that date.

Audience and Copy Direction¶

The primary audience is a global operator, owner, or administrator at a manufacturing or wholesale business. The guide should help this reader choose based on team size, locations, production concurrency, integrations, reporting, security, and procurement needs.

Copy must use direct international English, explain amounts in USD, separate login users from staff records, and avoid idioms or unsupported claims. Plan descriptions should connect capabilities to operating situations:

• Starter for one-person operations replacing spreadsheets
• Professional for growing teams connecting orders, jobs, and shipments
• Business for multi-location manufacturers and wholesalers
• Enterprise for procurement, security review, migration, and custom rollout

Content Structure¶

The pricing guide will contain:

1. A launch-pricing notice with the exact end date and billing-term rule.
2. A responsive four-plan comparison strip with prices, included capacity, customer fit, and clear actions.
3. A plain-language decision section that reduces plan-selection uncertainty.
4. Detailed capability tables that follow the live pricing page.
5. Billing notes covering annual billing, extra seats, AI top-ups, guarantees, taxes, and custom Enterprise terms.
6. Links to AI billing, users and access, organization settings, signup, and sales contact pages.

Supporting account, billing, FAQ, integration, user-access, and location pages will be corrected where they repeat a plan fact.

Visual Design¶

Visual thesis: use a calm, compact comparison strip that feels native to the existing Material for MkDocs theme and makes Business visibly recommended without turning the page into a marketing card grid.

The strip uses one shared frame with four columns, simple dividers, strong price typography, and a restrained blue tint for Business. On narrow screens, the columns stack with horizontal dividers. Theme variables provide explicit light and dark surfaces, borders, text, and focus states.

The styling must:

• use no radial gradients
• use small border radii
• preserve readable contrast in light and dark modes
• provide visible keyboard focus
• use restrained hover movement
• remove transitions when reduced motion is requested
• avoid JavaScript and new dependencies

Verification¶

A focused Python regression test will assert exact prices, annual totals, included seats, credit allowances, launch deadline, global billing language, supporting-page consistency, and the presence of theme-safe pricing styles. The focused test and a strict MkDocs build will run. Browser server tests and the full test suite will not run.
